Leyla is the sweetest, happiest, loving dog we’ve had in rescue in a long time. She loves people. She is okay with living with a cat, another small dog and a100 lb dog. She loves them all. She needs to be treated like a Princess. She has so much love and devotion to give. She could be a snow bird dog or an empty nester friend. She can be sensitive. Few dogs can express a look of “ I’m sorry did I disappoint you “, that melts the heart. She rolls on her back for much wanted belly rubs.
We were told she is 9 but acts more 5-7. She acts like a younger dog and would be a good walker. Leyla only has one eye. We don’t know why. When sedated for her dental, her eye or lack of will be closely looked at. She is 7lbs. She loves her food. She eats but saves a bit for an hour later. She is very good at telling you she should have a bit of what you are eating. Leyla is looking for her furever home.
Okanagan Small Dog Rescue is run completely by volunteers.
We give up our time and hearts to do this. We will make mistakes or we will forget a phone call and sometimes we may take too long to respond to your email. Please respect that we are always doing the best that we can do.
